Mend Brandt Moved Wont Off

just moved house which has a brandt dishwasher. it won't switch off! ?

I have just moved into a house with a family size Brandt intergrated dishwasher, about 8 years old, no instructions! The top of the door has 3 buttons 65/55/quick, on/off button, and a button marked "E" with an arrow beside it. I don't know where the dishwasher tablets go and once i press "quick" button plus on, the machine doesn't switch off, it just takes water, gets frothy, sloches around. HELP, what am I doing wrong
