Mend Glow Worm 40B Mark II Boiler Fault Heating

Glow Worm Fuel Saver 40B Mark II Wont FIre Up?

Moved into a new property and the boiler worked ok, the gas was then off for a couple of months whilst renovations took place, since the gas being back on the bolier will not ignite. I hold down the gas button and the ignition button is pressed and u can see the spark but the pilot will not ignite, any ideas anyone please?

1. check for gas at boiler
2. if gas is up to boiler it may be dirt in pilot jet, this will need removing and cleaning.

Advise you call a gas engineer to do this. messing around with gas boilers is dangerous, think of it as a bomb on the wall waiting to go off !!
