Low battery + a sensor light on. Battery tested (new last year) 13V. All fuses tested OK. Changed batteries in sensor. Power 240v OK, Power to battery charge show very low trickle charge. Will change sensor again but could do with few tips on any other areas that may need checking.
to increase the battery life in sensors,remove the link of the led.

Can anyone advise Amps for the ultracell UL2.4-12 (12v2.4AH/20HR).

13 v does not mean the battery is good, its the amperage it gives out. A standard test meter will not check this.
Is the pir in a busy area, could be reason for short lifespan.
