Morphy richards iron elite plus not steaming?

model 42288 Purple, not producing steam and when i press the steam button it just beeps at me and flashes read all the time. The iron heats up fine but no steam. I have read the other posts and promptly took to taking it apart to descale no avail. no signs of scale-up or brown sluge anywhere all tubes taken of and test for blockage.. nothing..even the one bent at 2turns of 90 degrees. I haven't actualy taken the steam unit apart yet as worried I will break the screws with a socket set (8 on mine not 6) and the hassle of having to reseal it. Any last recommendations appreciated before I use the socket set!!!
