how to replace flex on a morphy richards breeeze iron?

The plastic back plate is held on by three screws: 1 exposed triangular security type (use a small electrical screwdriver), and 2 crossheads under the stick-on Morphy Richards badge. Then you can prise off the back. You'll see a white plastic cover held on by 2 crossheads. Underneath is an ordinary chocolate-strip connector. Just release the incoming cable, slide off the ball joint and put this on to a length of similar quality cable.

George - don't even try - to get to the connection points you'll need to destroy the iron - they're all like that these days - it's a safety thing - to stop the likes of you and me electrocuting ourselves...
