How can i fix My Internet Page?

In the internet there is usaully as little taskbar above the start taskbar when in internet that shows what page is loading and how much it has loaded it has gone on my computer and it is really frusrating because i dont know if it is doing anything or not CAN SOMEONE HELP PLEASE??? i have tried all internet options and taskbar options cant find it Thanks
