Mend Vokera Sabre 29 HE Hot Called Cold

vokera (sabre) 29 HE?

when hot water is called for the water runs hot for a few minutes then runs cold (boiler shuts down and then fires up again) and then hot again, it does this repeatedly. if you reduce the flow by slightly closing down the hot tap the water remains hot and does'nt run cold (boiler stays fired up). any ideas. thanks
