I recently bought a 128 MB Lexar Jumpdrive to replace all my floppy disks. I have a Dell desktop computer with standard features. I was told that all you do is plug it into the USB port and the driver on Windows XP automatically installs it as a removable drive. So I plug it in and....nothing. It doesn't show up anywhere and I can't find it in the device manager. Can anyone help me figure this out? Thanks!
If the usb + and - connectors are switched on the motherbord it fries this Jumpdrive. It cost me two before I found out that my usb connector was not properly installed.

Sounds like its broken. Try it on another machine if you get the same result take it back.
