Hot water problem?

if you turned off the main hot valve with a red handle in the cylinder cupboard they can break internally and will need replacing a sign of this is the handle keeps turning if it seems ok try to link the hot and cold supplies (either tap to tap or pipe to pipe) and turn both on for a minute or two this should blow the airlock out

Have you opend the valves fully? it happens done it myself more then once...
