Mend Peugeot Speedfight 2 100cc Starter Bought Start

speedfight 2 100cc starter bendix?

hi i have just bought a speedfight 2 100cc and it had no starter bendix for electric start so i got one but i need to know if there is ment to be awasher in the hole were it sits or if it just sits in on its own any one know how to do this let me know it dose sound like it is spining the cog but wont start

Yes it does have one mate, its called a Bendix Gear Sleeve and are around £2-£3 on ebay. It wont work properly without one and you risk snapping a chunk of the cast ally from the hole where it sits which means a new crankcase
