How to fix a 2007 heat surge electric fireplace ?

Everything was working perfectly until a couple of days ago. The fan was running but blowing cold air. I do want to fix this and would you please describe it so I can do it myself. I am a woman and do not know electrical very well. My extended warranty ran out also. Thank you.
