Mend LG RH7500 Spins Switch Spinning

The HDD of my LG RH7500 spins but won't complete switch on process?

When I switch on the LG RH7500, I can hear the HDD spinning but the TV screen remains blank and the HDD won't load content of programs recorded. Keeps trying to read HDD but fails & retrys etc...
