how can i fix the kenmore 80 series?

The washing machine will not pull the cold water from my hose. It used to work and now all I get is hot water. No cold water or warm water. is this a mixed valve problem? and if so, how do I fix it?

Hello,

Shut off the water going to the cold water side and remove the hose at the washer and check the filter screen for sediment buildup. If there is enough sediment, it can block the cold water from flowing though. You can try cleaning it out. Other than that, you may have to replace the whole fill valve.
