how to repair a leaky kenmore washing machine?

Kenmore direct-drives are famous for leaking water at the pump.
Rem. the front panel ( 2 phillips hd. screws @ bottom),
grip panel and swing it out from the bottom, the hoses will
be visible right in front as well as the pump. If you spot the leak, R&R the clamps w. screw-type automotive ones, and that should be that.
If it's leaking oil, you have a different problem
