How can I fix a Kenmore 90 Series Washing Machine?

Was it the motor coupling? Because mine seems to be doing the samething...

Hello,

Sounds like you could have a bad motor coupling. Check page 41 and on the topic that says how to take the top off for instruction for removing the cabinet. This is not terribly difficult to fix and cost about 15 dollars for the part. However, you have tear the cabinet open and check it out. You can look for black shavings on the floor near the motor. The couping takes the place of a belt these days.
