have a 99 volvo i put in wrong code 3 times ?

i placed code in 3 times now has message on screen saying off do i need to get it recoded?

No, if you enter the wrong code three times it usually locks you out for a period of time, wait a few days it will usually come back on and re ask for a code.

You could try removing the unit itself or disconnecting the car battery for a short period.
