Mend Volkswagen MK4 Golf GTI Turbo Gti Start

hi my mk4 golf gti turbo wont start ?

my golf gti turbo wont start the other day it froze up with no antifreez in the car has defrosted now but it wont start it turns over fine and nearly starts but then dies out also when i turn the key i can hear the fuel pump working but nothing lights up on the dash plzz can anybody help ive only had to car 2 months and i love it thanks
