Mend Volkswagen Golf GTI Wont Start Help Please

my golf gti 2.0l 8v 96 wont start can anyone help please?

hi i have changed the coil pack and the crank sensor and now the dizzy and still i have no spark at the end of the coil lead please help me i am ripping my hair out cheers daz

Hi Daz, have you checked the power and ground on the ignition amplifier? +12v on pin 3 and ground on pin 1 and a pulsed Vdc on pin 2 when the engine is being cranked over, if there is no pulsed Vdc on pin 2, either the immobilizer has'nt recognised the key or your ecu is dead.
