my murray mower won't stay running?

it will only stay running while i push the prime button. help!

to me it sounds like carb trouble.
While you keep giving it a start it will run and then run out when that small amount of fuel is used.
You need to clean the carb completely and ensure that all pipelines are clear and not clogged.
this will definitely solve your problem.
