How can I remove the agitator of a Kenmore Series 80 washing machine?

How can I remove the agitator of a Kenmore Series 80 Model #26882500 washing machine? Something (possible a bobby pin) has become logged under the agitator causing a horrible noise.

Remove the cap on top of the agitator (some may unscrew). Then you will see a bolt, just unbolt it and remove the agitator.
