my Maytag gas dryer takes 3 hours to dry a load, what could be wrong?

My Maytag gas dryer takes 3 hours or more to dry a load. The clothes are warm but not hot. The drum tumbles, the buzzer works, the lint trap seems okay. My washer sprung a leak and did get the dryer wet. Since then it hasn't worked correctly. What could be wrong?

Hello,

First thing I would do is it disconnect the exhaust hose from the dryer and try drying a load that way. Please post back with the results.
