my Zanussi Aqua cycle wont go into rinse cycle?

My zanussi won't go into rince cycle, it washes and then stops with the end light flashing and the door won"t open, can anyone help

remove the filter at the bottom right corner.when the filter is removed shine a torch in to the filter housing and make sure the drain pump impellor rotates freely (model dependent).water will pour out when you remove filter so have something to mop up with!
