How do i fix an code E21 on a zanussi washing machine?
Hiya, bought this washing machine last week, last night it came up with E12 code, drained the machine by the filter door at the front of the machine, just ran it on a rinse cycle and has come up with error code E21,
does anyone have any advice on how to solve this, I am on my own with my kids since my husband passed away the other month
so please make it easy to understand

If u check the filter at the bottom there will likely be something blocking it in my case it was sock from my 2 year old lol, but be warned you will have a flood on your hands. after this if you turn it off at the plug for a few mins then back on again it should be fine.

As stated, opened up drain valve & soaked the floor.
This solved the prob immediately, it was a hair clip preventing drainage.
Switched back on and now fully working.

E12 is a water fill time out error,in other words the water never got to a set level within the given time.it could also mean the inlet valve has failed
E21 is a blocked drain issue.You say you have checked the filter at the bottom right?.Remove the filter again and shine a torch in to the filter housing and check if anything is jamming the drain pump impellor.flick impellor round using a long screwdriver to make sure it rotates freely
Now put it back together and retest
