Mend Husqvarna 450 Chainsaw Fuel

husquvana 450 won't stop running?

I cut 2 large pine stumps and gave the saw a good work out. But, the last to times I tryed to shut the saw off by pulling red switch down it but it keep running. Any thoughts? I did use new fuel mixture, could oil/gas ratio cause this?

Fuel/oil ratio will not cause this, the cut out is basicaly just a wire from the coil, which when the red stop button is pushed connects this wire to the earth return wire to stop the saw, so there is either a problem with the wire from the coil, or with the earth return wire, or where the switch touches the wires together
