peugeot speedfight 2 starting?

i have a 2001 peugeot speedfight 2 50cc in a morning it will not run. wont cold start i have brought a new automatic choke no luck still same well now the choke has stopted the carb from flooding so that must be a good thing once running n warm works mint fast but now my battery has gone flat and it wont start at all.I looked at the carb n there was white moouldey stuff around it so i cleaned it out and fresh petrol and nothink. Is this because the battery is flat or somethink else

no a speedfight wont run with a flat or faulty battery its a immobiliser conflict problem.fit a good new one to it and it should be alot happier

should be able too. Pop ignition on by turning key hold in brake and then start with kickstart... that or charge battery!
