Check your fuel /oil mixture this is very crucial as I had the exact problem with mine upon doing some great research and spending a great deal of money on unnecessary solutions I came upon on simple answer ....... On the times when it does start but just keeps "bogging out" the best way to describe when it sputters and looses power but still runs you need to screw in both or one screw dependant on the model on the side of the carburettor until it cuts out then your half way there all you need to do is turn that/both of the screws back one and a quarter or one and a half turns there you have it the correct mixture ...... Start your engine again and you'll find the performance is not what your once used to this is why there was as I said earlier the quarter and the half turn just have a play about until your happy I hope this helps guys and galls the only other problems that it could be are as follows
: blocked jets - soak in water overnight NO SOAP
: faulty / broken restrictor regulator ( converts ac to dc ) about £30 from bike breakers
: new piston and cap needed - about £60 from the bike breakers
: new piston and cap needed
