Mend Heating System Pressure Boiler

Lowering the pressure - heating system pressure gauge?

I have this boiler and i cant seam to get the pressure to go down to the correct position. How can i do this? I have looked on the internet all evening for a fix and I cant seam to find the answer i want. does anyone know how I can do this? (PS: it is getting very cold in the house :( and no hot water!)

Let some water out of the drain off valve on heating system or just release some water out of the bleed valve on the side of the radiator with a rad key, not much needed to drop the pressure

I have the answer,,, lol.. bleed the radiators!!! Eurikaa!!!!

Does it matter if the pressure is too high on the meter?
(as you can tell i am no engineer, lol)
