Mend GE WPSE4270 Open Filling Times

how do I open the my ge washer #WPSE4270 to get to the drum?

My ge washer is filling with water so slowly that it times out. I have already checked the water lines & all is clear. Thought that maybe something was blocking it from inside, but can't seem to lift the top. There has got to be a trick!

Hello,

Have you checked the filter screens either in the hoses or the water valve? They are good for getting blocked with sediment and slowing down the water flow.
