Mend Beko WM5120W Washing Machine Water Pump Stopped

whats wrong with my beko wm5120w washing machine? ?

when i select the function on the machine it seems to work, the water is pumped into the machine for about five seconds but then it stops and the machine does nothing!

I have a beco washing machine, I stopped the cycle mid way through, now the lights are on but will not drain water how can I fix this please its only 1 year old!! ive done this before and this didn't happen.

first of all the water does not get pumped into the machine,the water pressure in your water supply pushes the valve open,check the wayter valve,as they can open circuit when they heat up and cut of the water,the machine will not move forward untill the water demand is met
