my 06 transit connect does not have remote central locking?

your connect should have central locking as standard.to set the new fob,sit in van with door shut,turn ignition on and off about 8 times and central locking should cycle.then hold down any button within 10 seconds and keep holding it down.you may need to try this afew times.if it does not work,there is a single fuse on rear of fuse box which needs to be took off its mounting to check it.
