I have a cooper 9751 with a telecommand 722r remote fob. The battery on the fob failed so the alarm panel gave the message "telecmd low bat" I have replaced the battery and the remote fob now works and I can set and unset the system fine. However the fault light on the control panel is still lit. I have tried another battery and still the fob works but the control panel wont stop shoing a fault. I have tried to clear the fault by entering the user code and then pressing 1 followed by the tick and the cross buttons but nothing seems to clear the warning. I cannot set the alarm on the crontrol pannel but as I say the fob works fine.
Thanks for the advice. I had already tried to clear the messages using the option 1 tick tick. but to no success as its still reporting a fault even through the alarm works fine from the fob. The message even says inactive but wont clear. I would be tempted to switch the system off and on but not sure if this would clear everything.

Sounds like the EN panel you have to acknowledge the fault not just try and set it.
Press code 1 tick tick tick until all the alerts go if not its seeing the battery as a system fault and you need an engineer.
