I own a property which I rent out. The alarm system had a fault and it was fixed by a alarm security firm about 2 years ago. When my tenants moved out this year it was reported that the the alarm wasn't working on them leaving. I never received their code. The alarm didn't go off whenever I entered the property over the last few months. My new agents have just gone into the property and the alarm has sounded! I've asked my last agents to try to trace the old tenants to get their code but they can't trace them. How can I reprogram a new code in myself without knowing the last code used?

unfortunately you would need to default the panel and reprogramme it - installation manuals required to do this - good luck

Thank you so much Marco! A kind alarm comp' also suggested 1234. Whatever my tenants did the alarm seems to be off for now. You probably saved me a sleepless night.

The alarm company may have retained the factory set code which is 4321. If this is correct this should stop the activation. You can then alter the user code press 00 then 01 then enter new 4 digit code press prog then reset. you code is now changed. hope this helps.
