Mend Main Medway Automatic Warm 4 30 Seconds

water heater striking up but water only warm 4 30 seconds?

I have a 'main medway automatic' water heater which heats up the water on demand. However recently it is not doing this and is only heating up the initiall water for around 20-30 seconds and then running cold. If anyone has any ideas what the problem could be or any idea on how to fix it i would be very much appreciated.
