Dyson CRO1 Contrarotator fault code f8?

How do we repair f8 fault code? There is a large plastic counter at the end of the grey concertina pipe leading into the coin trap. Could this be causing the problem? How do we access that pipe? The counter is too large to pull through into the coin trap. Dyson CRO1 contrarotator washing machine.
