Bosh fridge freezer?

I have a Bosch Exxcel. About 4-years old. Intermittent fault. It would stop working and we would turn it off and on and we could hear the motor start and it was OK for a while until it happened again. Now turning it off and on has not effect. What could be wrong with it please?
