Set top box switches on shows green light -no remote control buttons work. TV screen shows:

DVB-T
DVB
Digital Terrestrial Receiver

and that's it no menu no access whatsover.

Out of guarantee.
I just buy a new one?
New models much more expensive

Budget boxes such as that are rarely worth repairing.

A new box will be about thirty five quid. I suggest that you try shops other than Asda. (Where the Durabrand came from.)
