Mend Switchmaster 300 Boiler System Faulty

We have a switchmaster 300 timer on our heating system?

It doesnt always work!!! We cant rely on it if we set the timer as although it sounds like its working and the pilot is lit, nothing happens!! We had the heating and boiler serviced about 6 months ago and were told all was fine. Any ideas or do we need to buy a new one?

You will probably need a new one. They are very easy to replace though.
