new fan heater keeps tripping out fuse box?

i have taken a spur from 20amp junction box to switch on to heater and the fuse box keeps triping if i put direct line to heater it works fine but heater is high upi have to use ladder to switch on and off heater is 2.8killowat with 4watt motor

check breaker size that trips is it 6amp, if so the junction box is for lighting and is no good for your heater

you have taken a feed from an rccd circuit,you will have to take the feed from the other side of consumer unit,.i.e.non rccd side
