Bosch SMS 6012 GB stopped part way through?

Our Bosch SMS 6012 GB was put on to wash with the rinse cycle included. It started to fill and at some point after that, stopped! The washer had some water in it but the washing tablet had not yet dropped out of the container. There is no power light showing on the front panel at all.

I've checked the power and the fuse. Both are OK. As the plug is a moulded unit I haven't cut it off and replaced it in case that was at fault as it seems unlikely.

Are there any known isses I should check? Does this loss of power indicate anything in particular - heater units for example?
