Model # 381451HBVE Snapper rear engine riding mower hydro drive series 1?

After the mower is cranked and running, I release the brake and the engine stops running.

I see nothing loose. I took seat off and checked the seat safety feature and it appears O K ? ?

Can anyone give me an answer ?
