Mend Hotpoint EW81 Light Working Day

Hotpoint EW81 halogen cooker?

1 of the rings doesn't heat up (doesn't even light up). It was working one day, then the next day, nothing. It's the double ring, that I used to use most. Any ideas how to fix it?
