Fault with BG Combi Condensing Boiler RD 532i - C1?
Hello out there.....
Please could you help? I have British Gas combi Condensing boiler RD532i. Installed 2003. Never given me any trouble. On Bank Holiday Monday the little window displays the following text:
Fault C1 - please call service.
It says something about the fan being too low? Also the pressure gauge is at 0. Does this require me to get out an engineer? I'm on the dole and short of cash - is there anything I can do to try and solve this myself?
Obviously, I would call an engineer if need be - just trying to prevent unneccessary expenditure.
you need to call an engineer as there is a fan problem as well as low water pressure my advice would be to call worcester bosch as it is one of there boilers made for british gas also worcester bosch engineers are much better than british gas engineers and they charge a fixed price with no sneaky extras
