I have a 1 year old JVC 52 inch tv. When I try to turn it on, it acts like it is warming up to turn on then it shuts back down. then the light at the bottom starts blinking blue. I got it to come on the other day but the picture was very dark. Now it wont come on at all. Please help.
I have the same problem with my JVC 52" . Thank goodness I have in home repair. Bought the TV at Best Buy about 1 1/2 years ago. The problem started over a month ago. 1 week to get service. Tech came out and said it was the bulb and it would have to be replaced. 1 1/2 weeks later new bulb put in and TV works fine for about 1 1/2 weeks. Now it does the same thing as your TV again with a new bulb. So now I am waiting for another 5 days for the service tech to fix it Who knows when I will have it up again.
I think the problem is not the bulb.

Simply put, this is not a DIY repair. You need to take it to the shop. BTW the inside of a TV set is potentially lethal.
