I have the same problem with my JVC 52" . Thank goodness I have in home repair. Bought the TV at Best Buy about 1 1/2 years ago. The problem started over a month ago. 1 week to get service. Tech came out and said it was the bulb and it would have to be replaced. 1 1/2 weeks later new bulb put in and TV works fine for about 1 1/2 weeks. Now it does the same thing as your TV again with a new bulb. So now I am waiting for another 5 days for the service tech to fix it Who knows when I will have it up again.
I think the problem is not the bulb.
