can i replace my rear projector screen???

hi all..
i have a samsung rear projector tv model SP42Q2 HD. and the kids have just gone and poured some juice down the front of it.. ( on the screen..which has run down..and slowly come back up..on the inside the screen ) and there is now is a dark mark :o/ on the screen.. down on the bottom edge..
can i clean it?.. can i replace it.. shall i throw it out.. and get a plasma.. lol
any thought would be good.. cheers for reading this.
