Can I fix an ac power adapter for xbox 360?

Is it possible to repair an ac adapter which is stuck on standby, orange light? or is it time to buy a new one?

often this is caused by the PSU overheating. open it up and suck out the fluff and dust with a vacuum, especially aroun the fan inlet and exit.
