Mend Power Gone Not Fuse

Power gone, not fuse, plugs in and no power light?

Has run perfectly for over 20 years. plugged it in and "something" caused a flash. Thought it might be a fuse going, but changed that and no luck. It's a great workhorse and would like to salvage it. Cannot find repair shops which can work on it. Spoke to the factory and they have no new parts. Suggestions?
