Mend Goodman 2271DD Video Player Tv

No signal from Video player?

I Have a Goodman LCD 2271DD TV that will accept a signal from a DVD player Via a Scart lead,and works well.
However, when the DvD player is removed and a Video player is connected to the TV using the same Scart lead,a screen message shows NO SIGNAL.
The Video player works well on two other TV's.
