Dishwasher Fisher & Paykel DW918TD will not start. ?

i have just muddled with mine. It would give four quick beeps no matter what i pushed and when the door was opened or closed. I took the panel off the door by removing 6 screws and then slid the front off to reveal the handle mechanism. there is a fuse with two plugs. You will probably find the black plastic thing is not pushing the little white button down to let the dishwasher know the door is closed. Im no expert just a lady who googles everything but my dishwasher is alive and washing again. Hope it works for you too
