How can I fix my zannusi ceramic hob?

The two right hand rings have simultaneously stopped working. Any suggestion on the likely fault?

TURN IT OFF AT THE CONSUMER UNIT!
where the 6mm cable connects underneath the hob is some copper links.if they come loose 2 rings can fail together.check wiring and connections on the connector block and tighten all the screws up.now retry
