Mend ADE Optima G4 Security System Home

How to deactivate zones on an ADE Optima G4?

I have fitted a new ADE Optima G4 alarm, I only want to use 4 zones 1 2 3 and 4, the remaining 4 zones are not being used. When I set the alarm the remaining zones 5 6 7 and 8 come up as activated and I cant set the alarm unless I omit these zones. How do I deactivate the unused zones 5 6 7 and 8
